What do you do when all your grandchildren are together for a few days?  Well, if you are part of this family, you make an appointment for family photographs!!  They range in age from 16 months to 26 years!  They are a very sweet family and fun to photograph.  I hope Grandma loves her new wall decor!

I recently got to spend some time with this adorable 7-year-old.  She, in addition to her 2 brothers, stayed at my house while their parents went on a much-needed vacation.  We played games, went shopping, had a home movie theater (even ate popcorn in bed), went hiking in the rain, read books and of course, had a couple of photo shoots!  We will get to the boy's photos later!  She is seriously outnumbered by boys at her house!  Ladies first!!  This sweet lady just happens to be my very own niece!  My big sister and her husband are the bio parents of 5, have adopted 2 and are fostering and hoping to adopt 2 more!  If you have lost count, that is a total of 9 children: 6 boys and 3 girls!  I am so very proud of my sister!  I know that God has placed each of the children in the right place.  Without further ado,  meet number 7 on the family totem, sweet McKinley aka Kiki!  She is thoughtful, kind, playful, motherly, a talented dancer, a loving big sister and a silly little sister.  She can be a hot mess and a gentle, tender soul.  My dear niece.

When a family is spread out across the country, it is an extra special time to have everyone together!  I had the pleasure of photographing 3 generations!  They wanted an outdoor casual portrait session.  Due to both our schedules, we had just one day that would work for us.  It was threatening rain so I had my indoor studio set up as a backup.  Fortunately, the rain held off and we got some fairly nice light.

I know the effort it takes to get everyone together for photographs.  I hope the generations to come will appreciate having prints to look back and enjoy!

It is kitten time at Fayette County Animal Shelter!  Cats and kittens galore!  All these sweet and snuggly babies are in need of a good home.  This is only a sampling of the animals available.  If you are thinking of adding a cat or kitten to your family, head over to the Fayette County Animal Shelter.  There you will find a plethora of animals to chose from.  After photographing and playing with these kittens I did find a little favorite.  Hannah, the gray with white paws, is such a sweet little one! Whoever ends up with her will be very lucky!!  The little golden tiger kitten ended up going home with a family of three young boys.  It was neat to see them so excited! Even though she is no longer available, I am including her photos because she is so cute.  There are many more like her.  So...go now for the best selection!
