Senoia Photographer Earns Certification

Lori Kolbenschlag of Legacy Portraits joins prestigious group as a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP)

Senoia, Ga August 11, 2015 – Lori Kolbenschlag, CPP of Legacy Portraits in Senoia, GA has earned the Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) designation from Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

Kolbenschlag earned this designation after completing an intensive program that measures her artistic and technical competence. Professional Photographers of America currently recognizes fewer than 2,500 CPPs.

“ Just having a nice camera does not make you a professional photographer,” stated Lori.  “I have a great eye, backed up with education and now have gone the extra mile by completing the CPP program.  Just as doctors and other professionals seek certification in their fields, I want to show the public my qualifications.  My clients can have confidence and peace of mind that I will deliver consistent results. “

Professional Photographers of America (PPA.com/CPP) is the leading body for certifying imaging professionals. CPPs must complete a written examination, finish an image evaluation and adhere to a strict code of conduct. Certification must be renewed on a periodic basis, ensuring continued confidence in the professionalism of Certified Professional Photographers.

For more information on certification, visit PPA.com/CPP. Go to LegacyPortraits.com for booking information for Lori Kolbenschlag, CPP.

Guatemala Mission Trip 2015

I, along with 8 others from Senoia United Methodist Church, recently took a mission trip to Guatemala.  We spent the time there working at La Senda children’s home and school.  It was an amazing experience that I will not forget!  The plan is to build a personal relationship with those at La Senda and return every year.  I know I would love to go back!  It was a lot of work but so very worth it.  The children of La Senda were so welcoming and loving.  My Spanish is nonexistent but somehow we made it work!  As the official photographer for the group, I took over 1000 photos.  Here are just some of my favorites.  As you can tell, I am a huge black and white fan!  I guess that goes back to my darkroom days!  I have put together a slideshow of images with music that can be viewed on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V69fXK4xdmQ.  We are all so very thankful for the support of the community who prayed for us, supported our fundraising efforts and made donations.
